The Daniel Group is thankful this holiday season.
This Year 2017 has been a roller coaster year of economic growth, catastrophic events and remarkable feats of heroism. As we approach the holidays, we look forward to food, football, and spending time with loved ones. It’s also a time to reflect on the things, big and small that we are thankful for in 2017.
We are thankful to be Houston Strong. In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, Houston’s resiliency and spirit were seen around the world. “I was proud to be a Texan after what I witnessed following Hurricane Harvey,” says Jeremy Daniel, Vice President. “Neighbors helping neighbors regardless of race, religion or socioeconomic backgrounds. It was amazing!” Jarrod Daniel, President of The Daniel Group, echoes the sentiment, “I am grateful for family and community. #HoustonStrong.”
We are thankful for our team. Every member of The Daniel Group team works toward a common goal, and their commitment placed our company on the Houston Business Journal’s list of Best Places to Work. “I am grateful for the team of phenomenal people that make up TDG,” says Jarrod. According to Jessica Brower-Clifft, Director of Sales, it’s all about the team’s attitude. “Professionally, I am thankful for our team’s dedication and “WILL DO” attitude that never fails. We have the “Never Give Up” attitude which allows us to continue to be fabulous!”
We are thankful for our clients. We wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for the many clients who trust us with their most important resource – their people. “Some of our clients have been with us since the beginning, and they are like our extended family,” says Jarrod. “We are a family owned business that employs thousands of people nationwide. I am grateful to be entrusted with this responsibility. I feel fortunate that our clients let us join their team and be a part of their success.”
We are thankful for our new office space. The reinvention of The Daniel Group since 2007 has sparked unprecedented growth within the company. Thanks to the hard work of our team and the continued trust of our clients, The Daniel Group will soon move into its brand new, 12,000SF Class A corporate headquarters at 5424 Katy Freeway. As much as we love our co-workers, we are all looking forward to having a bit more space!
We are thankful for those who help others. First responders, JJ Watt, Mattress Mack and the Cajun Navy, stepped up in Houston’s time of need. We are thankful to have witnessed these selfless acts of kindness and believed that all of those individuals deserve our gratitude.
We are thankful for the World Series Champion Astros. From late night nail-biters to the exuberant victory parade, the team’s historic win lifted the city’s spirits when we needed it the most.
